What we’re doing and where we’re going......

Statement of Faith & Purpose

Christ Church is a corporate fellowship who believe there are no limits with God.
We believe through Jesus we are reaching out through evangelism, healing, discipleship, worship and fellowship.

Evangelism- To cultivate a people who perceive their individual and corporate calling in Christ, each one seeing their potential for proclaiming and ministering the life of Jesus where ever one goes, and each one receiving the Holy Spirit's enablement to fulfill the "Great Commission" which has been given to all who call themselves followers of God.

Healing- Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, to bring deliverance and healing to the whole person.

Discipleship- To provide a teaching, training, and development ministry for every age group and every possible area of personal need, emphasizing the steadfast truth of the Word of God and practicality of genuine spiritual life in the context of every human situation. To advance awareness of the fact spiritual progress should be demonstrated in practical daily living.

Worship- To nurture a people who will worship the living God in spirit and Truth, glorify His Son, Jesus Christ, and honor the Holy Spirit; that by such worship the entry of God's Glorious kingdom may be manifest among us. To encourage corporate worship to extend into private worship and to the joy of the Lord daily.

Fellowship- To provide opportunities for fellowship through which the grace of God can be realized and the love of God can be experienced through human relationships, thereby allowing true fellowship and comfort through the Lord and His people.

Some biblical reasons why....

Why do we stand when we sing?
"And the Levites,... of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord god of Israel with a loud voice on high."
II Chronicles 20:19

Why do we clap our hands?
"O clap your hands all ye people; shout unto god with the voice of triumph." Psalm 47:1

Why do we lift our hands?
"Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord" Psalm 134:2
"I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, with out wrath and doubting" I Timothy 2:8

Why do we have audible praise unto God?
"I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalm 34:1
"And when they heard this they lifted their voices to God." Acts 4:24

Why do we have this type of worship?
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in Truth." John 4:23-24

Why do we pray for one another?
pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep praying for all the saints" Ephesians 6:18

Please worship in a way that is meaningful and natural for you, no matter what church you attend. We believe that expressing praise to God is most importantly a genuine response of gratitude that comes from the heart.
